    I’ve attached a video to show what I’d like FCPX to do, and what it keeps doing. (Sorry for all the blurs. It’s a client’s file, so can’t really show too much).

    I’m using a custom Motion generator. Usually, I can just drag the image into the image source block and the world is a happy place. However, recently I’ve been having issues with the source boxes disappearing when I try to drag the image over. It seems to close the selected file’s inspector completely.

    The only way I can get the image into the source box when this happens is to drag it onto the timeline, click the source box, click the image on the timeline, click accept, and then delete the image. So many extra steps for a really big project.

    Any tips? I’ve tried closing FCPX and reopening, and sometimes that works, but most of the time it doesn’t.
